Staying Connected... - February 20, 2009
Hey, guys. Just a short note to stay in contact with you.
First and foremost, I hope you're enjoying the "When I'm Ready" video. I'm quite happy with the amount of views it's received so far given that I've been "underground" for so long and there's been MINIMAL advertising for it --- if you haven't done so yet, would be GREAT if you shared with your friends and family. The plan is to release the audio version of "When I'm Ready" as well as the "Ready or Not" b-side to it once it's hit 1,000 views. So, help get those numbers up!
Secondly, I've been really busy with working on a music video for Avenpitch. (So, not much time for M-Halo at the moment.) As many of you know, Todd (of Avenpitch) and I have been collaborating in one form or another for a number of years now --- usually through remixes. What's different now is that I've written, produced and directed a new video for their track "Don't Come Cryin' to Me" off of their new "Cast Off" album. I plan to have this wrapped up and back to Todd by the end of the month --- then Avenpitch will release at their discretion (I understand it will be released ASAP!) :)
Finally, once I have the video out of the way, I can get back to wrapping up the new M-Halo CD. I will be able to reveal the album title, tracklist and artwork in all its glory! In the meantime, hang tight... good things are on their way.

Happy 2009 ... Reviving M-Halo - January 1, 2009
Lots of new M-Halo stuff coming down the 2009 pipeline. First off, as a sneak peek in 2008, "When I'm Ready" was released as a Frets on Fire track. (Hint: If you haven't tried it yet, read the news below.) Got a few other things in store for you this 2009. Next up is the "When I'm Ready" video. That's scheduled to go live sometime this month --- so keep an eye out. Oh, and if you're looking to contact me, try me via the M-Halo MySpace page for the time being. In the meantime, here's to a great 2009! Stay tuned...
NEW M-Halo Song ... With a Catch! - November 26, 2008
Your first sneak peek at the NEW M-Halo song is available, but the catch is that you need either Frets on Fire or Guitar Hero III for PC. I'm releasing this EXCLUSIVELY first as a bonus song for these games. Don't worry, an MP3 will be available for you to download down the road if you don't want to play/listen-to it in a video game. In the meantime, for those adventurous gamers, click here to download the new M-Halo song called When I'm Ready. BTW, Guitar Hero PC owners, click here for tips on how to import custom songs (i.e., this M-Halo track) into GH3! Frets on Fire players, you know that all you need to do is unzip this file in your FretsonFire/data/songs directory. ENJOY!!!
Web Site Back Online - November 20, 2008
Welcome! After many years of being offline, the M-Halo web site is back... new design and all. I'm sitting here right now listening to Mew's "The Seething Rain Weeps For You (Uda Pruda)" as I think of what to write ... all I can do is imagine how this site will blossom over time with new M-Halo material: songs, videos and a fresh album. It's been awhile since I've been in the groove things, and this site is here as an echoing of that hunger that's starting to build in me again. For awhile, I felt it was best to disappear --- so, that people forgot, and I could have a fresh start. And for awhile, I felt as if I had almost achieved that goal. I began the process of removing my music from (e-)stores, and as I watched M-Halo search results slowly disappear from Google, I felt that much closer to that goal. But something happened recently ... Actually, more than once. People started asking me, "So, you still working on your music?" And it kept happening... over and over again. So, then that hunger began to build again, and I finally felt that, even though the album in not complete, that it was time to start rebuilding. Even though "the world had moved on" (because now I live in a world where mp3.com means almost nothing to most people), that very first step of putting together that new site was upon me. So, here I am, presenting to you. Stay tuned for updates as well as more words, thoughts, and of course, sometime in the near future, a new song to introduce you to a new album. :) Thanks for sticking around all these years.
